This is a special 2-hour session which showcases the launch of the film ‘The World Turned Upside Down’ – Part of the IDEAL research project.
‘The World Turned Upside Down’ is a play that was staged in Exeter in January 2022. This film shows the performances and the process it took to create it. The film shows the learning, perspective and thoughts of the Actors, audience members and people affected by dementia who advised and influenced the play – A really interesting watch!
The play is about communication around dementia. There are many moments between individuals and their family members, or individuals and healthcare professionals, where the outcome of a situation relies on what is communicated, and how.”
NOTE: we experienced some technical issues during this webinar resulting in poor quality streaming of the film
There is further information about the film including a link to the film itself and a screening pack, available here
